Also known as the golden plover, it is a medium-sized bird of the family Characidae in the order Characiformes. Known for its fast running and long-distance flying abilities, it is one of the common birds during the migration season. Feathers will change in different seasons. In summer, the feathers are mainly black with golden stripes on the back, hence the name "Golden Back". In winter, it turns into darker colors. Long and pointed wings, skilled in flying, especially during migration, capable of long-distance continuous flight. Habits include foraging for small invertebrates such as insects, crustaceans, and mollusks on sandy ground near water. Nesting on the ground, usually located in depressions in sandy or muddy areas.
